the problem
Work is changing - the days of Monday to Friday 9-5 are gone. People today want and need genuinely flexible and part-time work.
Across the world, people who want to work part-time are locked out of high quality work by ineffective and old fashioned ways of working.
the solution
Jobsharing changes the system to enable all roles to be part-time. By enabling part-time work in high quality, high impact roles, jobsharing is an equity solution - to attract and retain diverse top talent.
At The Jobshare Revolution, our mission is to transform the world of work through jobsharing.
We amplify the voice of jobsharing, unlock jobsharing within organisations and support those who jobshare to supercharge their partnerships.
the revolution
Laura Walker (left) and Chloe Fletcher (right) jobshare the role of CEO at The Jobshare Revolution and are committed changemakers with a track record of delivery in high impact roles. They are determined to create a world of work where jobsharing is commonplace and standard practise.
After jobsharing in senior Finance roles at big corporate businesses, alongside spearheading significant changes in flexible working within their organisation (including creating and supporting other jobsharers), Chloe and Laura founded The Jobshare Revolution to drive systemic change.
The Jobshare Revolution supports organisations to implement jobsharing as a standard practise, raise awareness of the power of jobsharing and supports individuals and pairs in their jobsharing journey.
what is jobsharing?
A job share is where two people come together to share responsibilities within a role
Typically, a jobshare pair have shared accountabilities and each work part of the week, with their compensation pro-rated accordingly. Together, the jobsharers deliver the job as a duo.
Team work, communication and trust are key when working as a jobshare. It is important that the pair have aligned values and goals and work together to present a united front to key stakeholders. Technology advances such as shared emails, voicenotes, file-sharing and communication technology have made this process much easier over recent years.
